Packing up the truck and moving to Victoria...

On January 4, I am moving to Victoria to teach two Playwriting workshops (WRIT203) at the University of Victoria. I'll try not to romanticize this too much, except to say that I will be teaching the very class that I took in 2003 (with Charles Tidler), my first ever writing class at UVic, when I had no idea what I was about to get myself into. I will be filling in for Joan Macleod (which is impossible), and I can't wait to get there.

I am excited, nervous, and completely grateful for the opportunity. I will miss Toronto (a bit), but I've never quite gotten B.C. out of my system. The next four months will be pretty rad both in terms of my own teaching and my own writing...

Here's the proof that I am indeed on the roster!

See you in a few days, Victoria.
